Daniel Connolly

If you know me, you know that when I'm passionate about something, I don't stop until I meet my objective. Whether its writing quality code, organizing and promoting large-scale events, or learning how to win at chess, I get results. I try to live every day to the fullest, which means improving myself in any way I can and getting out of my comfort zone. I love learning about the world and the people and places on it, and I hope I can have experiences that can help me do that more.

Interests

French

I hope to learn as many languages as possible over the course of my lifetime. I am currently learning French and Dutch. I have taken courses in French for almost 10 years, and its amazing how much better I've gotten over the years. In the Summer of 2018 I had the amazing opportunity to spend two weeks on a french farm near the Rhone river, where I stayed with a host family who didn't speak any english.

Cities and City Planning

I have always been interested in cities and all the awesome things that come with them. Every city, no matter the size, has amazing architecture, food, culture, and history. Although I've been to Amsterdam, Paris, NY, Montreal, and Toronto, Buffalo and Albany still have a special place in my heart. One day I hope to get involved in city government and have a first-hand role in improving the community I live in.
