Intro to Asian Civilization II
Asian Civilization II covers Asian History from the Ming and Mughal eras to the present day. The rise of imperial Japan is especially interesting to me. I found it amazing that a country could transform so rapidly from an isolated feudalistic state into a powerful empire.
Computer Organization
I learned MIPS assembly language, and was tasked with building a basic calculator. That project was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I learned a lot from it. We also learned about processor datapaths and how processors access memory.
Data Structures
We coded in C++ and learned about different data structures and when to use them. We covered vectors, lists, trees, maps, just to name a few.
Intermediate French 1
Dans cette classe, nous avons appris la grammaire et le vocabulaire intéressant. j’aurai préféré plus parler, mais c’était une bonne classe néanmoins.
Physics 1
This course covered basic mechanics, including kinematics, rotation, and harmonic motion. I find physics to be interesting when I am able to understand the underlying concepts, but too often it becomes a matter of using forumulas which have no meaning to you.
